Remove and put on glasses with both hands to ensure even pressure and avoid deforming the frames.
Avoid dry wiping lenses, as this can scratch and damage the surface of the lenses.
Clean dirty lenses with water. If the lenses have fingerprints, skin oil, or other stains, gently clean them using a small amount of mild dishwashing detergent on your fingertips. Rinse while cleaning and then dry with a tissue or a clean microfiber cloth.
Sweat and oils can corrode and oxidize both the frames and lenses. Regular cleaning helps extend the lifespan of your glasses.
When wiping lenses, use a clean microfiber cloth and wipe in one direction. Avoid circular motions, which can cause scratches.
Wash and air-dry the microfiber cloth regularly to keep it clean.
When removing your glasses, gently place them with the lens facing upward to prevent scratching the lenses.
Never expose your glasses to high temperatures, such as in saunas or under direct sunlight in a car, as this can distort the frames or cause the lens coatings to peel off.
Avoid contact with chemicals, cosmetics, hairspray, or other substances that can damage the frames and lenses.
When not in use, always fold your glasses with the left temple first, then the right, and wrap them in a microfiber cloth. Store them in a case to prevent damage from pressure or mishandling.
Never use your glasses as a headband by placing them on your head. This can distort the frame shape.
If your glasses become loose or deformed, have them adjusted at an optical store. Avoid adjusting them yourself to prevent further damage.
Polarized sunglasses should never be cleaned with ultrasonic cleaners as this can damage their polarization effect.
